Sour navigates the moment when someone you love chooses to leave and you are fighting to hold on to what could have been. It's this helpless feeling consuming you, it's the way we sometimes forget our worth and strength in a relationship. Idealizing the past and hypothetical future. It's being stuck. 

There’s a vivid sadness in Sour that Milk & Bone wanted to explore in its purest form. With the softest version, they dug into the sorrow and the anger that were very much present when they wrote it. Camille and Laurence wanted to offer a version that would let the song’s lyrics shine and their vocals take most of the space. This softest version of Sour was bedroom produced in a very intimate manner that allowed Milk & Bone to return to the source of the feeling.
