Inspired by Thierry's guitar riff, Sophia wrote a chorus that crystallized the feeling she experienced upon discovering a majestic field of daisies during a psychedelic trip. The song is an ode to living in the moment, especially in a world where it's easy to get caught up in our thoughts about the past and the future, explains the artist. With its sun-drenched melody sung in tandem, Dans les marguerites is reminiscent of the Francophone pop aired on Cité Rock Détente at the turn of the millennium, and the music of groups such as Sixpence None The Richer.
